Ge Profile Arctica Temp still displayed wrong after system board replacement

Based on a large amount of research, and after having replaced a burned out defroster element. I took the plunge and popped for a new system board, as the fridge was still not right, even though the freezer had stabilized temps after the defrost heater element was replaced.

The series of problems started with the freezer never getting cold, regardless of the setting, maybe 8-15 deg, thus the fridge was also not cooling, staying at an indicated 43-47 deg(never put a thermometer in till recently). I pulled the freezer side apart and found the end of the glass element burned. Purchased a new defrost heater and away we went, kept a very close eye on its operation and the like. Now the freezer was at 0 - -2 but the fridge still wasn't functioning just right. Then about 6 days ago I started to see the fridge displayed temp rising, to the point it indicated close to 80 deg. after touching some of the contents I knew it was not displaying the correct temp. I found the self diagnostic info and ran through the tests, with the only failure being the 0 - 3 test, which is a communication error between the temp control panel and dispenser board, at that time the main control board was replaced. Now 24 hours later, the freezer is at 0 and reads 0, the fridge is at 37-40, and reads 72. What do i look to next? Should i run the thermistors tests, or is there some other way that the display gets its temperature reading info, also, do both the thermistors in the fridge side provide the same info, or does one provide the temp to display and the other provide temp info to the compressor. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
