Hello Forum,
I have a weird problem that I have not seen on the forum. My washing machine will intermittently not fill with cold water. I have to push the knob in several times before it starts to fill with cold water. It makes a clunk as if it wants to fill with water, but nothing comes out. I see the cold water line jolt as if it is opening to allow the cold water into the machine, but no cold water. I also do not get cold water in the spin cycle when it shoots out some water. Sometimes the rinse will not start, until I push in the timer button and pull it out several times. I hear a buzz and that is my indication that I need to push in the timer button. This does not happen all the time. I thought it was the water inlet valve and replaced it, but still having the same issue. Is there a way to check with an ohm meter to determine if it is my timer? Could it be the temperature switch? Any help would be appreciated.
