Our water dispenser quit working recently.
The ice dispenser still works fine.
I can hear a solenoid click when the water dispenser lever is actuated, and there's water pressure at the filter.
I disconnected the hose where it goes up through the freezer door hinge at the bottom of the refrigerator, and water comes out the hose running to that from the back of the refrigerator.
If I push a section of stranded 12 ga. electrical wire into the hose going up into the freezer door, I hit a very solid obstruction somewhere just a few inches from the upper end of the hose.
Is there another valve located in the door? The obstruction seems very solid, like it's something that's supposed to be there.
Thanks.
