Washer will get hang up between cycles

My washer is less than 2 years old and has had problems with starting cycles and stopping in between them. Originally it was just the spin cycle so I had a repairman out and he looked at it and said it was the mainboard and that they are pricey and I should look for a new washer. Well I managed to find the mainboard online for 25% of the cost and replaced it. I noticed no change in the washers actions so after some reading online about trouble with the lid lock switch I ordered a replacement and installed it. Now after messing around with swapping the replacements parts in and out and back in, the washer will function but I have to push the Pause/Unlock button twice in between the agitate cycle and the spin cycle. Also it takes a while before it starts to fill. I'm not sure where else to look with this machine?
