We have a front loading maytag neptune washer. We live in a rental and I'm not sure how old or what model it is because what appears to have been the label that likely had the model number on it was removed. The model number is also not inside the door.
If I decide I want to change the fabric setting after already starting the machine, the washer stops. I can get it to start again, but only after hitting the start button a couple of times. Is this normal? If I've already put soap in the dispenser, do I need to add more? I can't tell if it entirely restarts the cycle or if it preserves the soap and water already in there.
Tried to figure this out from user manuals but with no success!
