Interesting situation with the old washing machine this evening. As it is getting close to the end of the wash cycle the motor starts to struggle hard, drawing enough power to make the lights in the house flicker with each pulse. First thought I had then was something is up with the motor, but the catch is if I select a different wash cycle with more time remaining then it goes right back to washing fine.
I did some testing, it doesn't matter if I run a 15, 12, 9 or 6 minute wash cycle, it runs fine until the last couple of minutes of each cycle. My conclusion is that I have an issue with the main circuit board / motor control board but I wanted to run it past you folks and see what you think.
Thanks for the assistance!
