As stated, no ice is coming out. About a month ago, I noticed water was slowly leaking into the bin, combining many ice cubes into one big one. Thought maybe it was just leaking over a little bit as it filled the molds. Then the "leak" got worse all of a sudden, then stopped producing ice.
Today I pulled the ice maker out and melted the ice that was stuck in there, got it all hooked back up and immediately heard it fill the tray. Came back later and there was ice in the mold, nothing in the bin. When the freezer door is shut I can hear the ice maker, like something turning. I'm assuming it is trying to eject the ice without success.
I guess my question is do I need to replace the entire unit, just the ejector? How do I know where to go from here?
