GE XL44 oven won't light- ignitor questions

I've read through a number of "won't heat" or "won't ignite" posts, and I think I'm on the right track to an ignitor replacement, but have some confusion on the physical part checks and replacement.

As with other posts, all the lights/top burners/controls work on the appliance. My first question was going to be which is the ignitor on top, the broil or bake, but answered my own question by turning on the broiler; duh:rolleyes:. (It's the top one, btw, for others like me). I checked the bake relay, and it does pull in and send 120V down the (yellow) wire, but I never see the ignitor heat up. The ignitor measured 'open' on a DMM, measured by unplugging the wires from the control valve and connector back to the control panel, so I am fairly certain it's bad, based on what I've read on other posts.

So now my question is this; in other posts, it looks like the ignitor replacement part pics show a 2 wire plug, in a single connector, as the replacement unit. But when I look at the schematic/wiring dwgs and at the actual, physical wiring, the wiring does not go to a single connector. One wire goes to the control valve, the other I believe to the bake relay on the control panel. Will I have to replace the connector ends or redo the wiring on a replacement part to fit into the circuit? I can do this, I just want to be sure before I spend the cash on a replacement part that I'm getting the right part.

(It's something of a bummer that the ignitors are wired different, because we rarely use the broiler and I was initially thinking of swapping the ignitors;)).

Any advice or part store recommendations are appreciated.
