Hello,
I have a GE Profile Refrigerator (Model PS123SGPA BS), Side by Side Model, Water/Ice Dispenser in left hand door. I have no water dispensing. The ice maker still produces ice and dispenses out of the door with no problems. When you depress the lever for water, there is a very slight sound as if water was to dispense. Here is what I have done so far to narrow down the research. #1) I checked the water supply line to the refrigerator and that is intact and flowing free. #2) I removed the water filter inside and depressed the lever in the door and water flowed out of the water filter connection area, reinstalled water filter. #3) I removed the lower plastic vent along the bottom of refrigerator, exposing the blue water line coupling connection for supplying the water up the door. I disconnected the coupling connection and depressed the lever in the door, water flowed out. I re-connected the water line coupling connection. Any suggestions? I have read of the water supply line freezing within the door. Is this an easy fix for a mechanically inclined individual? Also, is there any line drawings/schematics for disassembling the door if needed? Could this possibly be an "electronic" issue as well? I am lost for additional words or ideas. We have resorted to purchasing "spring water" until this situation gets corrected. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED...
