Maytag Quiet Series 300 makes loud humming noise while draining

Hi,

Need some help. I have a Maytag Quiet Series 300 that is not so quiet anymore. It makes a loud humming noise during the draining cycle.
What should I do? Is there a special place I need to look to see if there is a blockage somewhere? Could it be the motor? Is there a seperate motor for draining?
Any help and guidance would be most appreciated.
