LG Dishwasher sparked after replacing main control board

Hi,

I just replaced the main control board on my LG Dishwasher (model# LDS5811BB), however, when I turned the circuit breaker back on, the dishwasher sparked and the breaker turned itself off again. It sparked towards the bottom of the dishwasher.

I contacted the site that I bought the part from and they said it was probably a bad board, so they are sending me a new board, which is nice of them, however, I was wondering if anybody here knew whether or not it could be something else or if you think they are correct in thinking it was a bad board.

I just wasn't sure if the customer care person didn't really know how to troubleshoot, so sending me a new board was an easy thing to do or if it probably is a bad board.
