Whirlpool Duet HT 9400PT4, Getting the MCU out of plastic housing--how?!?

All,

I've identified the source of my nasty F11 error, two components on the PCB of the MCU have had their connectors rust away to nothingness. I'm willing to take a shot at resoldering them, but the darn board is stuck in it's plastic housing. I've removed 4 screws, and even the screws from the giant heat sink, but there's either a screw for the PCB board underneath the heatsink or glue or a plastic fastner that's preventing the board from coming free of the housing.

Has anyone had experience with removing a MCU from it's housing and might have some suggestions on how?

Thanks,

JA
