Unit is 1.75 yrs old. The only thing that works on the touch panel is the display screen, timer pad, and clock pad. Rarely, another random pad may work and the unit will work for that function. But that function cannot be cancelled by the cancel touch pad, only by unplugging the unit. After unplugging the unit, letting it sit awhile, and then plugging back in only allows setting the time and/or setting/using/canceling the timer.
