Sears Kenmore Dishwasher not washing

My dishwasher is filling with water and appears to be running through the cycle as it should, but my spinner arms are not spinning and therefore the dishes are not getting cleaned.
I have read on here about testing with a volt meter and if voltage is correct, my problem is my motor.
Do I have this right and any other suggestions please?
