So, our trusty Kenmore Elite gas stove started showing signs of age recently... The broiler will sometimes either not light at all, or 'partially' light whereby I see the flame at a very minimal level. There's a bright glow towards the top rear of the inside of the broiler itself, so I think the element must be OK. When this sort of thing happens on my BBQ I would just think it needs new gas. That being said we use gas for our dryer as well and the oven top ignites fine/plenty of gas. Sometimes if we leave the broiler on for like 5 or 10 minutes it'll eventually catch but its super inconvenient. What do you think it could be?
