dishes coming out dirty

My dishwasher seems to be working fine, only the dishes are not coming out clean, they first started getting a film on them, but now it seems like dirt and food just gets baked on. I have taken apart and cleaned out the spray arms and the trap at the bottom there was alot of limescale, and I ran a dishwasher cleaner through it. The water level seems to be ok. When I open the door after it fills, it is about an inch deep at the front of the tub. Almost completely covers the heating element. I watched the water drain through the garbage disposal it came out fast, like it should, I'm pretty sure there are no clogs there. However there is still some water in the bottom of the washer when it's finished running, and for some reason 10 minutes after it shuts off the pool of water at the bottom grows a bit. I assume it's from draining out of the spray arms and such. When the washer runs I can hear the sprayers working, it sounds like the pressure is okay, though I have no good way to test it. And I haven't tested the water temperature with a thermometer but I did open the washer after the 1st cycle and the water was almost scalding. I haven't removed the washer from the cabinet yet, I don't want to do that unless I for sure have to. Because of the floor being to high it will be a challenge..lol but I will do it if I have to. :) Any advise on where to look or what to test next would be appreciated. Thanks
