I have a Kenmore Elite Dryer. If you push the start button is runs, stops as soon as you let go. While holding the button in , it runs, it still produced heat. If I put it in no heat mode and hit the start button it stays running, while running I switch the knob to heat and dryer runs and produces heat and finish's cycle. Does it sound like a heater relay or Board? 2 months ago I had a no heat problem, I switched the relays, also tested all the usually parts and had no bad readings. I cleaned lint out of the bottom of dryer. tested dryer and heat worked again. So I figured it was either the lint cleaning or I fixed a loose wire. Now I wonder if the relay I swapped from heat control to motor control might of been on its way out and didn't work the heat but started the dryer and now finally stopped working.
