Hello Forum,
I am new here so thanks for having me, but I bought a Whirlpool fridge (Model# ED5VHEXVB04)from Craigslist and it has been working great, but yesterday it started tripping the GFI constantly. I can reset the GFI but as soon I plug the fridge back in , it trips it again. I then plugged the fridge into a non-GFI plug and the fridge lights come on inside the doors and the water dispenser works on the outside of door but the fridge is no longer getting cold. you dont hear any fans running or the compressor or any noise from the fridge whatsoever. when plugged in you dont hear of the normal noises that a fridge makes like a slight hum or anything. I do not know where to start troubleshooting. If someone can steer me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day!
