Dryer won't spin

Hi:

I have a Sears Kenmore Dryer model 110.62822101 that is about 10 years old. When I pushed the start button, I only hear a buzzing or humming noise and the drum does not spin. I checked previous threads from other Sears Kenmore Dryers on this Forum and was able to find a video about how to access the motor and all the thermal fuses, thermostat, door switch, etc. and test most of them for continuity. All of the fuses, switches, seems to be OK. I dissasemble the Dryer to access the motor and when I press the start switch with the drum and belt disconnected, the motor does not spin. I proceed to turn the motor shaft with my hand to spin it and while it was spinning I push the star switch and the motor start running without any problem for at least 5 minutes before I stopped it by opening the front door. If I stop the Dryer and try to start it again, the same thing happened.

By doing all of the test I mentioned above, it seems obvious to me ( I might be wrong and that is why I am asking the forum ) that the motor itself or the ball bearings on the motor are gone. It is there another test I should perform in order to be sure that no other component in the Dryer is bad? I want to be sure before I order the motor and also want to know, if it is worth it to replace the motor on a 10 years old Dryer instead of buying a new Dryer. Please, let me know if the motor is available, part number and cost of the motor as soon as you can. Should I replace the motor belt also? Thanks in advance.

Best Regards
