Have an old model 2475/90ers Jenn Air Cooktop, which is so old the
Jenn Air site does not recognize. But I have seen it mentioned by
others on the net.
Years ago, a local man changed 3 of the switches, which are the
"push to turn" type with an H or flat shaft. And the "OFF" position
is at 6 o'clock. Now 2 of the knobs are broken and the other one is
in very bad shape. The fourth knob is still the original D type
shaft.
Since the knobs are not Jenn Air but probably Maytag or Whirlpool,
have found it very difficult to get new knobs. The only thing I can
find is a kit 5500-200 but it does not show that it is push to turn
or an H shaft.
Any suggestions you may provide will be really appreciated. I am
desperate.
