Just recently moved into a new house that is on propane. I ordered the conversion kit and a friend of mine installed it for me. The kit i ordered was WE25X217, after he was done there was one part left over, the air shutter, according to him due to the burner type i had it did not require the air shutter. Well my wife went to use it for the first time and it sounds like i have a jet engine in there now. I was going over the instructions for the conversion kit and when it talks about the burner style, one has a slot for the mounting screw for the shutter and the other burner has a fixed mounting hole. Does the air shutter go into both and it depends on what burner I have if the air shutter is adjustable or not? I appreciate any help on this.
