I have a Maytag MVWC6ESWW1. As soon as you pull out on the timer to start the machine it begins to agitate and will not fill. Also when you turn to spin it will not spin and the motor will only hum. I confirmed that nothing was binding up the machine to keep it from spinning (tranny, pump ect...). Thought it was the ATC switch. I replaced it and still the same thing. Just to make sure I did not get a bad ATC switch I got another and tried it as well and still the same result. I do think the timer is where my problem is at. When I looked up the timer for this model I noticed that there is a Agitation Delay circuit board. I did not know about this board, I just thought it was part of the timer, so now I'm wandering if the board could be the problem instead of the timer. Both parts are relatively expensive so I would like to pin point this better if I can versus buying both parts. Has anyone ran across this situation before. Please advise.
Thanks!!
