Hi there. I have a Maytag dryer that no longer heats. It revolves just fine, so I would prefer to fix it as opposed to buying a new one. I took a look at this video on youtube, which is great, but i really need a sanity check as to whether all of these parts would likely go bad at once. I tested the following parts using a voltage meter and the directions in the video:
Ignitor-Tests fine
Radiant Sensor-Tests bad
Cycling thermostat-Tests bad
High limit thermostat-Tests bad
Is it likely that all these parts would go bad, or is it more likely my testing is bad.
I am a handy guy, but this is my first foray into appliance repair...any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks so much.
