GE Dishwasher wont drain completely

Water wont drain completely after the rinse cycle. Otherwise everything appears to be working fine. This is what I have checked:

1. No air gap
2. Drain hose is emptying into a sink which does not have a garbage disposal. I cant see the water being emptied but it sounds its draining correctly.
3. I took off the sump cover and the sump cap and checked for anything stuck in the pit before the pump. Nothing.
4. Also did the baking soda/ vinegar / water clean twice but no effect.

Any suggestions would help!
