Hi. I could use some help diagnosing the problem I've having with my washer. Currently, the washer has about 2 gallons of water in the drum that will not drain.
The display will read an error code of FH.
The control panel does light up and function, but will not allow me to run a cycle. I have unplugged the washer from the outlet and allowed half an hour to pass to allow the computer to reset a number of times. I can use the panel to run a diagnostic test. Here's what I got.
C00 - Door Locks properly
C01 - A quick electric "buzz" is heard but no water dispenses
C02 - Dispenser operates properly (top is removed so I can see it)
C03 - No noise heard or water dispensed
C04 - Drum rotates freely and without noise
C05 - (the computer passes this by as I assume there is no heating element)
C06 - Drum continues to rotate as in C04 but water does not drain
C07 - Drum counterrotates freely and without noise
C08 - Drum rotates to high speed, but since there is water in the drum and its not draining, I stop the test.
I have checked the door lock mechanism for proper function, including removing bottom panel and using manual tab - it seems OK
I have checked the water inlet screens and water flow - both seem OK
I do not have an Ohm meter, so I have not checked the resistance on the inlet valves.
I have removed all of the electrical connectors going into the CCU, opened the CCU box to check for obvious discoloration from a short - found nothing, looked pristine.
I cannot remove the front plate that covers the control panel as there is a rusted screw in the area behind the dispenser tray opening. I would have to drill this fastener out and replace it. I don't want to go back there unless I have to.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
