Where is the thermal fuse on Kitchenaid KUDI02CRWH1?

Hi,

I've got a suddenly dead Kitchenaid KUDI02CRWH1 dishwasher. I got the door panel off and there is power at the door switch. Searching various forums indicated that the most likely problem is the door switch or thermal fuse. However, I can't see anything that looks like the pictures of the recommended replacement thermal fuse in the control panel area.

There is a small round metal can-like device labelled Clinac CS-7 located about where the thermal fuse is shown in various pictures and videos for other Kitchenaid dishwashers. However, the manufacturer of that part refers to it as a thermostat. In any event, there is continuity across its terminals (with the wires disconnected) so if it does serve as a thermal fuse, it's probably OK.

By the way, a number of the wires had melted into the black material on the door. However, none of the wire insulation was actually burned suggesting that it was the door that got too hot, not the wires.

Thanks.
