Water in Blower Housing

Hello everyone,

I bought this unit last year. This year it started to make a water trickling sound. I didnt do any of the yearly maintenance so I cleaned the filter and just yesterday I took it outside and hosed the inside out. The fins are in very good condition. It was very quite for about a day and a half then the noise came back. I took a look in the blower compartment and there is water pooling in the bottom of the Styrofoam blower compartment, as it rotates it splashes in the water, like an old timey water wheel making the noise. I called Frigidaire and they are telling me its normal. Is this true? if not, is there a drain hole in that compartment that i should clean out? I tried looking for one when I had it open but didn't find anything. Any advice would be much appreciated.
