My 17 year old Kenmore washing machine does not agitate, spin, or drain. The timer seems to be working correctly. I took the cabinet off and ran the washer with the pump removed so I could see if the motor shaft was rotating. It was. But the tub will not spin and the agitator does not move, and the pump, even though the motor shaft is spinning, does not drain water. I do hear kind of a "clicking" sound coming from the motor as it spins. The sound seems to be at the other end of the motor where it connects to the drive.
This problem happened suddenly. The washer was fine for multiple loads of laundry, then all of a sudden it displayed the symptoms I've desribed. The basket drive and clutch have been replaced within the past six months.
Any ideas on this would be appreciated.
