Ok, I had my dryer feld give way and while being beaten to death with out that it grinded up some nice metal shavings and allowed these to build up on my dryers timer, about than we smelled burning plastic/hair and shut it down.
Well after replacing the felt and everything is sounding good again the timer isn't advancing now, I looked over the wiring harness and nothing appears to be char-broiled except a couple spots on the timer where I assume things grounded out.
My question is, did the timer get fried? its not advancing on fluff/air dry and manually the dryer won't shut off when you advance the timer to "Off" in any position.
