I've established through other posts that my issue may be resolved with a new lid switch. So far I have bypassed the current defunct switch so I can finish my chores. How long can this temporary fix hold up? Also, I can't seem to figure out how to open up the top of the washer to get to the lid switch. Can you help with this and subsequently the switch replacement itself? And, lastly, before I order a new one I; do you ship to Canada? I would like to purchase from your site since you have so graciously helped myself and so many others.
