My first posting. July 8, when we left for a month, everything was working fine. A week later when my daughter checked the house, the fridge was NOT working. It had power because the light was on, but it was warm and all the food had gone bad. Judging from the condition of the food, it was not working for quite awhile. We know we did not lose power during that time, because all the clocks were still working. When we returned last Sat, we opened the freezer door and ice fell out! It was working again. During this time we did lose power, so I think whatever caused the original problem, reset when the power went out and came back on. Everything seems to be working fine now, except that the "3.0Lb" light on the "Express Thaw" panel is on. Also, I tried the self diagnostic test which says to put both the freezer and fridge temps to "5", however, I could not get the fridge temp below 34. Has anyone had a similar experience that could give me a clue as to what is wrong?
