Washer has been occasionally failing to spin-dry for a while now, but today my wife overloaded it and it stopped spinning entirely. I disassembled it almost all the way, and found nothing obviously wrong (besides 6 years of really nasty dirt/grime/mud buildup). I reassembled everything (90% sure it went back together properly...10% is from possible trauma to electrical components when separating wire harness from main control knob) and tested it out. Spin cycle was back (but weak) but now it won't agitate. During agitate phase, the control knob ass'y is making these ticking and clicking sounds. It then goes into the normal rinse/spin cycle, but spins slower than it should. Also, when I open the door during spin cycle it's slowing down really quickly, as if the brake is grabbing it. Definitely seems abnormal there.
Any idea what the problem could be? I'm happy to take/post more videos if needed.
