water and ice not working

I have a ~14yo GE Monogram 27cu s/s, model zfsb27dybss. we are now no longer getting water or ice from dispenser. There is great water pressure getting to the control valve on the back, but not sure what to look for next. It's sounding like that valve/solenoid might be the problem, but is there anything else that I should check first? Any other ideas? Thanks, Mike
