Kenmore Refridge Ice/water problem

I'm trying to figure out why my water dispenser stopped dispensing water, but when you push the water dispenser button, the ice maker motor turns. The flapper door for the ice dispenser doesn't open though, so Ice just falls into the chute. The ice maker still makes ice so its getting water. I already replaced the filter and that didn't help either.
