Kenmore ice make issues

Hi
I have an ice maker that makes the ice but does not fill back up with water, and stopped making ice altogether. I went through the trouble shoot and I get water from the front dispenser and it will make ice if I manually fill it up with water but wont fill back up. I hit the black tube with the hairdryer and no water so I am thinking it is my inlet valve. My red light blinks twice and pauses but when I close the flap it keeps blinking and does not stay red like I believe it is supposed to.
