Inglis Dryer - No heat

I'm stuck. Dryer works fine but no heat.
checked the upper and lower thermostats, no resistance.
Also shorted them out and it didn't make a difference.
Took out the heater coil, it has continuity (9.8 ohms).

Would the moister sensor have any effect on this?

What are the two connectors on the air flow exit pipe
(see pic attached)
