Should I get it repaired or buy a new fridge?

Hey there,
Our side by side is 9 or 10 years old.
The fridge is warm (10C or 50F) and the freezer is working well.
There seems to be ice buildup IN the dividing panel (lower third only).
I defrosted it yesterday, and there was ice on coils behind the freezer back panel.
The repair man thinks that it's the control panel or the diverter.
This fridge has had repairs, the last one was two years ago.
Is it worth fixing, or should we just cut our losses ($180 yesterday) and buy a new one?
If you do recommend buying a new one, with filtered water and ice maker, which would
you suggest?
Thanks and Cheers,
Nontechie.
