I noticed water in the bottom of my dishwasher. I first checked the drain hoes. Clear. I then removed the dump pump cover. I found what looked like wet paper towel mush and a piece of glass. Removed all of that. Reassembled. Worked like a charm. 3 months later standing water again. All clear. I ran the rinse cycle while door was open. 2 things I noticed. Chopper was not turning and the water did drain out but trickled back in only to fill in the sump pump well. I guess this is why the water slowly builds to cover the floor of the dishwasher. What could the problem be?
