Ice Dispenser Problem

Have had problems with the ice dispenser for some time. It is very hard to activate, resulting in a broken paddle from having to push so hard.

I recently replaced the paddle and also the ice bucket assembly but still have the same problem.

Water dispenses OK. I saw on another site where someone suggested bending the blade on the micro switch but I didn't see where that would help. Mine seems to activate OK.

Appreciate any help on this issue.
