Hi,
I removed the back on my Frigidaire PLHT189CSB4 top freezer yesterday because of what I am assuming is a defrost problem. I have decided to just replace the thermostat/heater/timer as I don't have time to diagnose which is bad. Anyway, when I removed the back after letting the ice melt I noticed that this "goo" had fallen off of one of the pipes (see photos). Just wondering if I should replace/re-attach this goo and if it will affect operation?
