Bought my Maytag range January 2011, so it's not very old. Two night ago I started to cook dinner, turned the oven on to preheat, and started to boil some water. I know that the burner was starting to get hot. Maybe 2 minutes later I noticed a weird smell, almost like a burnt rubber type smell. I opened the oven to check and it wasn't coming from there. The smell went away quickly but then I realized the burner had stopped getting hot and the oven would not heat higher then 215 degrees. There is power to the control panel but no heat anywhere. What's going on?
