We smelled gas when running the oven so we called in the gas company. I wasn't home for the service call but they tested the temperature of the oven and when it was set at 400 degrees it was only heating to 200 degrees. They said the thermostat needs to be replaced, which makes sense. They also said that some time in 2012 they replaced the igniter, but I can't remember if that was related to the oven or one of the stove-top burners. Can anyone help me with identifying the thermostat and do you have any ideas about the gas smell? Could that somehow be connected to the need for a thermostat or is it definitely something else. Clearly I'm cooking our Thanksgiving turkey on the grill.
Thanks!
