So we had some sort of power surge today. Lights went flickering, the toaster exploded in a shower of sparks and later on we realized... the fridge wasn't cooling. Lights are on, the the ice dispenser will spit out ice, but no cooling and the water dispenser will not give any water.
Tried to google around, but some said it was a compressor relay, some said a capacitor, some said a timer, some said the control board. All the fixes varied by model. Does anyone know what I should check on my particular model (FRS23R4CW2) and how to check if that part is what fried out? Then I can hop on Repairclinic.com and order the part and continue being the hero in the house. :)
