Kenmore suddenly stopped drying dishes, stops cycle at 78 minutes, then heating pause and sensing lights light up. Put meter on heating element it was bad. Bought new element with board, installed. ($175) Ran again same thing. checked ohm'd high thermistor its a zero. Checked drain, stoppped cycyle and drained-drains fine. Disassembled/cleaned lower basin/tub including drain flap and macerator. That part was not very dirty at all.
Restarted it and it ran to 75 and got stuck.
Googled and found you and this story that sounded very similar that's when we decided to check ohm. This washer is probably 5 years old. We just dumped a few hours and some money into it. I'd like to repair it but at a loss on what can be next? The water inside is hot. It gets stuck no matter what cycle you run it on.
