Kenmore Series 90 buzzing not clicking on

Having intermittent issues on washer. After washer fills up it starts to buzz. So I go down and touch the moter start switch wires and the washer kicks in. So I have already changed out the starter motor switch. In addition I have stripped the wire ends and replaced all the lead going into the start switch. I'm at a loss. I'm wondering if the white switch on the back of the motor switch is not making contact. Any thougths? I also replaced the timer about 6 months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
