Whirlpool fills very, very slowly with cold water. hot is fine and fast

This has been happening for a while, but seems to be getting worse. The hot water fills very quickly, but the cold is very slow. So slow that it takes about 45 minutes to fill the chamber on the rinse cycle. I've checked the hose behind it and it shoots water out like it's been pinned up for years...
Not sure what the next thing to check would be.
