Hey guys. I know there have been several posts regarding the starter relay going bad for the kenmore coldspots, and I think...THINK... that is what's wrong with mine now. the problem is my relay doesn't look like the replacement part recommended in the previous posts. Mine looks like this T 2220498 Kenmore Coldspot Refrigerator Compressor Relay Start Device 2220498 | eBay with another piece plugged into it. I'll try to get pics later. In the mean time, my fridge just stopped cooling. the fan nor the compressor were running, so I popped the back and unplugged the relay. about an hour later I went back into the garage and noticed the fan was running. I thought it was odd, so I decided to plug in the relay again, and the compressor kicked right on. that only ended up lasting about 5 or 10 minutes because the next time I went outside it was back off. Am I correct in my assumption of it being a bad relay? any idea what the extra part attached to it is? if you look @ the pic in the ebay ad the two vertical slots on the left side of the right image are where it plugs into. again I'll try to get a pic up soon.
