My father in law was changing the heating element in this dryer after instalation the door open was in display he was checking door switch and grounded it out thats when i was called in to help im a diesel mechanic but have a desent knowledge of electrical components so with my multimeter in hand i rushed over my initial test found the thermal fuse blown so had the father in law get one and stoped by the next weekend and installed it all this gained me was the light came on when door open but contol panel not lighting up so i figured must have fried control board i got one and covered cost and installed and gained nothing no change frustrated i studied wiring diagram and returned the next weekent im getting power to conrol panel through tan wire off door switch i ohmed thermostats and they tested good i have power to motor through black wire off terminal block i pulled what im guessing was motor relay off motor where harness plugs in and found contacts burnt i too it apart andcleaned contacts reassembled dryer thinking i found problem and still no change so im stumped out of ideas any help would be greatly appreciated
