Similar post as "LG Fridge Making Clicking Noise" from "LGNY" started on July 24th, 2011 11:00 AM. Last reply to that thread from wildimaginations suggested replacing the start capacitor. Unfortunately LGNY didn't update the thread regarding if replacing the start capacitor fixed the clicking. Our LG refrigerator model is LSC27921ST /00 and the start capacitor is part number 0CZZJB2014G. We ordered this part online and it's scheduled to arrive in a week. The thermistor/switch unit that the start capacitor plugs into is not available so we are concerned that if the new start capacitor doesn't fix the clicking, what we should do next. I think that there are two options, call a repairman (possible compressor replacement) or purchase another refrigerator. FYI, the refrigerator is still cooling but itthe clicking noise is getting more frequent. Thanks for your help.
