Hi,
My dishwasher is dead. My fiance was running it and it stopped and left about an inch of water in the tub. There are no lights on and when I open and close the door, there is no beep. Prior to this problem the d/w would run non-stop, meaning that i would have to reset it to get the machine to stop cycling. It seems/feels like an electronic problem like a controller, though that is a wag.
I opened the junction box and everything seems ok in that nothing looks burned or shorted. The exposed copper wire appears to be grounded underneath a flat head screw. I don't have a multi-meter to check voltages, but i do have a sensor to test whether there is electricity coming to the machine and the wire coming from the fuse box is "hot".
Where/what do I check next?
any help would be appreciated. thanks.
Jason
